Java Database Connectivity
Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) is a programming interface that lets developers using the Java programming language gain access to a wide range of databases and other data sources, either directly or through middle-ware. By using the JDBC programming interface, Java programmers can request a connection with a database, then send query statements using SQL and receive the results for processing. JDBC handles the actual connection, sending queries and data to and from the database.

JavaScript
JavaScript was developed by Sun and first implemented by Netscape for the creation of interactive Web sites. JavaScript, which is similar to, but not related to, the Java programming language, interacts with HTML code to serve dynamic content.

JSP
JSP, acronym for Java Server Pages. JSP is a Java technology that allows software developers to dynamically generate HTML, XML or other types of documents in response to a Web client request.
